Videoconference Controls on a Windows-Based Computer (PC)

If this is your first video call, the video panel opens in picture-in-picture mode – with the other caller in the main screen and your image as a thumbnail in the upper right corner. (Or if you are the only participant, you will see a "Waiting for the host..." image along with your self-view.)

 

Broadcast Controls (what others see/hear)
Microphone - Toggle between turning the microphone on and off.

You've muted your microphone.

Camera / Privacy - Turn your broadcast video on or off.

You've put yourself in privacy mode. (You see/hear others but they cannot see you.)


End call (Disconnect)


Share screen - Share your screen with other participants.

Appears only while the videoconference is in session.

Share images or PDFs - Share a pdf or image file with other participants.

Appears only while the videoconference is in session.

Keypad - Appears only while you are "waiting for host"

Ignore this control. It is not needed for eVisits.

 

Receiving Controls (what you see/hear)

Speakers - Toggle between turning the speakers on and off.

You've muted your speakers.

Adjust the speaker volume.

Change Camera / Microphone - If you have more than one camera or microphone attached to your computer, you can switch devices.
Call Statistics - View information about your video call transmission rates.

Screen size - Toggle between full-screen and smaller screen size.

Exit full screen (restore previous size).
